LSE Legal Clinic and Mike’s Table CIC invite you to join us for informal drinks and light refreshments on the 8th Floor of the LSE School of Law on Tuesday 22 July 2025 at 6-8pm.
There will be short presentations by Diana Kirsch, Director, LSE Legal Clinic and Louise Holstein, Founder, Mike’s Table.
Diana will introduce the work of LSE Legal Advice Clinic - a wonderful, new addition to the LSE Law School, enabling students to practice first hand under the guidance of professional practitioners, whilst offering much needed pro bono legal advice to the wider community.
Louise will remember Mike Redmayne, a professor, and much-loved colleague in the Law Department, who sadly died in 2015. Louise set up Mike’s Table in his memory as a non-profit company, seeking to promote community, well-being and friendship through sustainable dining experiences. The diners are a mix of paying guests and those who are invited to come for free. These are people who are socially isolated for many reasons. They are often the very people who will benefit from the free legal advice offered by the Clinic.
Guests will include representatives of the wonderful charities and organisations who refer their clients to Mike’s Table, along with Legal Clinic supervisors and students, Law School staff and several Mike’s Table volunteers.
